Jewelry Music Box Travel Organizer

This is not a huge jewelry box to hold all of your jewelry, but it is a lovely keepsake that could last for quite a long time. The wood is thick and rich looking, and it all looks beautifully well made. If you are just looking for a jewelry box though, this probably isn't what you'd pick. If you want the music-box aspect though, particularly if this song has special meaning to you or someone you are gifting to, it is fantastic.

I was able to give this to my daughter for Christmas. She's 12 now and growing up. For many years when she was young, I'd sing "Sunshine" (as she called it) to her before bed (or before every procedure when she was going through cancer treatments). She LOVED the box and has set it aside for her most special jewelry and little keepsakes. I know she will keep this for the rest of her life, and I love the idea of it helping her remember me one day, whether she's just off at college, or when I'm no longer around.

Obviously, it already has huge sentimental value to me that may or may not help your buying decision, but I gave this 5 stars not just because of the song, as I wouldn't have just bought her any music box that played "you are my Sunshine", but that the company has done so well making this box so sturdy and beautiful that it really can last a lifetime... even the packaging is phenomenal. I definitely think it is priced well. I imagine that many other people have sweet memories with this song too and this is much nicer than any other random music box playing the song. The sound quality is nice too and reverberates well with the wood of the box.

In case it's not obvious enough, this is truly one of my favorite finds ever. I can't recommend it enough! (I may even need to buy another to keep for myself so that we each can have one!)

My wife loves jewelry boxes and I ordered this one for her. It's a very attractive jewelry box with plenty of storage space. That's good since my wife has a ton of jewelry and always needs more storage. The box is made of walnut and lined with velvet. It feels very well made.

When it arrived, I noticed for the first time that it doubles as a music box playing 'You Are My Sunshine' when opened. I thought it would be the Stevie Wonder classic 'You Are The Sunshine of My Life'--a song Frank Sinatra performed frequently in the later years. Nope--it's a completely different song and unfortunately it doesn't 'swing' like the aforementioned Stevie Wonder penned tune. My wife says that all mothers and grandmothers are sentimental about the 'You Are My Sunshine' song. That's why it would make a great gift for your female progenitors. Highly recommended!

It's a charming box. The wood work is beautiful. The padding inside seems to be the same quality as more expensive jewelry boxes. The music mechanism isn't updated. The music is fast when wound tight at the start. As the music plays it slows down. Inside you can see I place two of my wife's rings to get a perspective about size. Below the rings is the music mechanism, so no stacked ring compartments. Over-all it's a small box with an outdated music mechanism. It's not a fit for us. I don't like it.

This is a beautiful walnut wood jewelry box that plays "You are my sunshine" when you open it. It's wind up operated for the music. I tested this out in the video attached to the review with two necklaces and three large rings and one wedding band. The rings that were less than 1.2 inches fit fine in the ring rolls, the box was able to completely close on it's own, for the one ring that was 1.2 inches the box would not close on it's own. In case if you have rings that are > = 1.2 inches, then you can put them into the pouch or in the square compartment, maybe wrapped in a paper towel to prevent scratching from other items in that area (if you plan to travel with it and it will shake.)

I really like this jewelry box a lot, it's well designed with beautiful walnut wood and would make a great gift for your daughter/wife/sister or for yourself!

This is a beautiful wooden (walnut, I believe) musical jewelry box. I got it purely for nastalgic reasons. It is quite small so I’m using it for my special jewelry and jewelry I wear a lot. I posted a pic of it by my regular jewelry box and deodorant for size reference. I do wish the large compartment was quartered off so the earrings could be separated. All in all though it is beautifully crafted and the sound quality is nice. It feels like a piece that could be handed down and would make a wonderful gift.

I think this music box would make a great gift. I personally like music boxes so I enjoy the song while I decide what jewelery piece I want to wear. This is a great item.

The wood work is just gorgeous!!! The box is little, perfect for a teen or for my mom. She is in her 90’s and sadly has given away most of her jewelry so the few pieces she has will fit perfectly in the box. She will love the music too! I love the color!!! I think it’s made in walnut! Exquisite!!!
